the present heavens and Earth are reserved for fire,
being kept for the Day of judgment
and destruction of ungodly men (mankind ... men and women) ...
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends:
With the Lord a day is like a thousand years,
and a thousand years are like a day.
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise,
as some understand slowness.
He is patient with you,

But the Day of the Lord will come like a thief.
The heavens will disappear with a roar;
the elements will be destroyed by fire,

Since everything will be destroyed in this way,
what kind of people ought you to be?
You ought to live holy and godly lives
as you look forward to the Day of God
and speed its coming.
That Day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire,

"There was a man of the Pharisees
named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
This man came to Jesus by night (probably didn't want to be seen ...)
and said to Him (Jesus ... Yeshua),
"Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God;
for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him."
Jesus (Yeshua) answered and said to him
"Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless one is born again,
he cannot see the Kingdom of God (Heaven)."

"Nicodemus (who we find later did come to believe in Jesus (Yeshua) and brought His burial spices ... John 19:39)
said to Him (Jesus ... Yeshua),
"How can a man be born when he is old?
Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
Jesus answered,
"Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless one is born of water and the Spirit,
he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, (we made no conscious decision concerning our "Earthly" birth ...)
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (we have to make a decision to be born of the Spirit ... our "Heavenly" birth)
"Do not marvel that I said to you,
'You must be born again.' (Just sitting in a church or synagogue (or trusting in our opinions) won't save anyone!)
"The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it,
but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes.
So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
Nicodemus answered and said to Him,
"How can these things be?"
Jesus answered and said to him,
"Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? (Nicodemus was a high-ranking teacher of the Jews)
"Most assuredly, I say to you,
We speak what We know and testify what We have seen,
and you do not receive Our witness.
If I have told you Earthly things and you do not believe,
how will you believe if I tell you Heavenly things?
"No one has ascended to Heaven but He who came down from Heaven,
that is, the Son of Man (Messiah) who is in Heaven. (..."from of old, from everlasting" ... see Micah 5:2)
"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, (see Numbers 21:6-9 ... whoever looked at the serpent was saved)
even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
"that whoever believes in Him should not perish (in Hell)
but have eternal life (in Heaven).
"For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish (in Hell)
but have everlasting life (in Heaven)

that we (all those who will repent (turn away from sin and back to God) and trust in Jesus the Messiah)
are children of God,
and if children, then heirs -- (the "if" is conditional upon our relationship with God through Messiah (Christ)
heirs of God
and joint heirs with Messiah (Christ), (Wow! ... Think about all of God's Creation and consider this promise)
if indeed we suffer with Him, (being a believing Christian (follower of Messiah) will not be easy through this life ...)
that we may also be glorified together."

"Those who are the children of the flesh, (and not of the Spirit through Messiah (Christ)
these are not the children of God"

"Having been born again,
not of corruptible seed but incorruptible,
through the Word of God (Jesus (Yeshua) the Messiah ... see below)
which lives and abides forever"

"In the beginning was the Word . . .

Jesus (Yeshua) said to him,
"I am the Way (into Heaven), the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father (into Heaven)
except through Me."

If you do believe "all religions lead to Heaven"... then it means you do not believe God's Word ... and if you do not believe in God's Word then you are not "born again"... and if you are not "born again" (not of "flesh" but of the "Spirit"... which takes a conscious decision on your part) the Bible warns you will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven ... (Heaven or Hell ... it's not too late!)
Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) warns all those who call themselves "Christian" ...
"I know your works,
that you are neither cold nor hot. (you don't really believe or trust in God's Word)
I could wish you were cold or hot.
So then, because you are lukewarm, ("I will only believe and obey those parts of the Bible I agree with ...")
and neither cold nor hot,
I will vomit you out of My mouth." (Out of Heaven and into Hell ...)
Because you say,
‘I am rich, have become wealthy,
and have need of nothing’--
and do not know that you are wretched,
miserable, poor, blind, and naked (in spirit). . .
And he who has an ear let him hear." (Meaning, this warning is for everybody ...)

"Not everyone who says to Me (Jesus-Yeshua), 'Lord, Lord,' (calling themselves
'Christian')
shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven ...
Many ('most' or 'majority') will say to Me in that Day (of Judgment),
'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied (taught) in your Name,
cast out demons in Your Name,
and done many wonders in Your Name?'
And then (at the judgment), I (Jesus) will declare to them
'I never knew you
Depart from Me (departing from Heaven and into Hell)
you who practice lawlessness'" (God's Word
includes God's Law ... if you deny God's Word you practice
"lawlessness")

‘I am the resurrection and the life.
He who believes (trusts) in Me,
though he may die (the first "bodily" death),
he shall live (forever ... in Heaven).
And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die (in Hell ... the "second" death).
Do you believe this?’" (This is the question every man and woman must answer)

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus (Have you ever told anyone Jesus (Yeshua) is your Lord and Savior?)
and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved." (From Hell ... and welcomed with open arms and with tears of joy into the Kingdom of Heaven)."

Seem a little "narrow" to you? Well, here is what the Bible says ...
"Because narrow is the gate
and difficult is the way
which leads to life (in Heaven),
and there are few who find it."

(It's difficult
because we are told our faith will be sorely tested ... and the "world"
will hate and ridicule it.)
“Enter (into Heaven) by the narrow gate; (one person at a time through Jesus Christ ... Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew)
for wide is the gate
and broad is the way (the most "popular" way.... the "easiest" way.)
that leads to destruction,
and there are many ('most' ... 'majority')
who go in (to Hell) by it."

All these ancient Bible prophecies of the Messiah warning He would be despised and rejected (by both Israel and the World) are still there in the ancient copy of the book of Isaiah now on display ....
"He (Messiah) is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief."

"He was despised, and we did not esteem Him."

"The Redeemer of Israel,

To Him whom man (the world) despises,

Yet, the Messiah would be beaten, bloodied, and would die for our sins (iniquities)
so we could escape the judgment . . . and the darkness, loneliness, and torments of Hell

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes (whip lashes) we are healed.
And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity (sin) of us all."

Don't ever blame Israel or the Jews (or the Romans who were the ones who actually killed Him) ...
for the "Holy One" (Messiah) of Israel died willingly ... for all!!!

it will go into his hand and pierce it.
So is Pharaoh king (the leader) of Egypt
to all who trust in him." (The Bible warns Israel to trust in God ... and not in the leader of Egypt.)
