"Who Loves The Homosexual More?"
What Does The BIBLE Say About Homosexuality . . .
"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman.
It is an abomination."
"If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman,
both of them have committed an abomination.
They shall surely be put to death.
Their blood shall be upon them."
ďA woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man,
nor shall a man put on a woman's garment,
for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God."
"Do you not know that the unrighteous
will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God"
Do not be deceived.
Neither fornicators, ...
nor thieves, ...
will inherit the Kingdom of God.
And such were some of you. (We are all sinners ... 'Repent' means stop and return to God)
But you were washed (by the innocent blood of Jesus which was shed for all of our sins)
But you were sanctified (means "set apart")
But you were justified (justified means "just as if it had never happened ...")
in the Name of the Lord Jesus
and by the Spirit of our God."
(1 Corinthians 6:9-11)
And God warns all those who simply "approve of" these things . . .
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven
against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men . . .
For even their women exchanged the natural use
for what is against nature (lesbianism).
Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burning in their lust for one another,
men with men committing what is shameful (homosexuality) . . .
that those who practice these things are worthy of death (Hell),
and not only those who do the same
but also those who approve of those who practice them!"
(Romans 1:18, 26, 27, 32)
(Note: Other offenses were also included which were not listed here.)
Here, God clearly warns all those who simply "approve of " these things will be held just as accountable as those who actually do them. This is God's Word in the Bible. This applies to churches and pastors/ministers/priests/rabbis as well. If you are in a church whose leaders "approve of" or support this activity, remember the Bible warns many churches will turn away from God's Word and will "depart from the faith" and "will no longer endure sound doctrine" (1 Timothy 4:1-3, 2 Timothy 4:3-5, Jude 1:3-6).
The Bible is not ambiguous in its message concerning homosexuality. Homosexuality is not new. God never calls for capital punishment, or calls anything "profane" or an "abomination" if it is simply "genetic." When we study the passages concerning Sodom and Gomorrah, it appears homosexuality, or sodomy, is symptomatic of a people who have willfully rejected and defiantly mock Godís laws in order to do "that which is right in their own eyes." Sodom and Gomorrah were given as warnings . . .
"As Sodom and Gomorrah,
and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, (a total of 5 cities were destroyed)
having given themselves over to sexual immorality
and gone after strange flesh, (homosexuality)
are set forth as an example,
suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."
"And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes,
condemned them (Sodom and Gomorrah) to destruction,
making them an example
to those who afterward would live ungodly ..."
(2 Peter 2:6)
Who Loves the Homosexual More?
The Christian (any follower of Jesus Christ) is commanded to "love others" and treat them as we would want to be treated. According to the Bible, a person living in homosexual sin "will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven" (1 Corinthians 6:9-11), and those who "approve of those who do such things" will be held just as guilty. In the Bible, we find Jesus Christ's first command was to "repent" (turn away from those things which are against God's Law) and then to trust in Him alone to save us from all our sins. He said He came to "save sinners" ... lots of them ... both Jew and Gentile ... any and all who will love, believe, and trust in Him. The Bible warns until we acknowledge we are sinners and we desperately need a Savior (to save us from our sins ... past, present, and future) we won't be saved from Hell . . .
So, who loves the homosexual more? One who tells them it's okay to continue in a sin the Bible warns will condemn them to an eternity in Hell ... or someone who is willing to endure the anger, ridicule, and hate to warn them and to try to get them into Heaven as a neighbor and as a friend? In Proverbs 27:6 God says, "Faithful are the wounds of a friend ... but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful." Jesus Christ said more about Hell than He did about Heaven ... and the true believing Christian will try to get as many boys, girls, men, and women into the Kingdom of Heaven as possible. If a Christian truly hated the homosexual (or anyone willfully sinning against God's law) they would simply keep silent and let them suffer in the eternal darkness, loneliness, and torment of Hell. Yet, all believing Christians have had to come face-to-face with the fact we are all sinners and desperately need a 'Savior' to save us from our sins and from Hell. Jesus Christ commands us to 'love our enemies' ... and you can't love someone without warning them when they are in great and grave danger.
It is false doctrine in direct opposition to God's Word that teaches God's "love" approves of or accepts homosexuality. The Bible clearly says homosexuality-lesbianism is sin. Jesus said He came to save sinners ... Jesus suffered and died for all sinners. And we are all sinners. God hates sin because He endured the Cross to suffer and die for all our sins ... and because He knows the terrible consequences.
The Bible warns anybody who "defends" or "approves of" or "promotes" or "protects" this sin (or any sin) has openly declared their opposition to God and His Word by trying to block His loving and gracious efforts to reach out and save them. That is why He pleads with all to repent (turn away) from doing those things that are against His laws, His statutes, and His rules ... and with tears of joy and with the open arms of a loving Father He will richly forgive and welcome all back who return to Him.
Please remember, our God is a forgiving God who will forgive any and all who have sinned against Him. Any sinner, including those who have walked the path of homosexuality, can be lovingly forgiven and washed clean through the blood of the Lamb, and then graciously clothed in His Righteousness.
God explains why Sodom and Gomorrah were condemned and destroyed ...
"This was the iniquity (sin) of your sister Sodom:
She (Sodom) and her daughter (Gomorrah) had pride, (sinful "pride" was the sin of Satan...)
fullness of food,
and abundance of idleness;
neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy,
and they (the people) were arrogant (haughty) ...
Therefore, I (God) took them away as I saw fit." (He 'cleansed' (destroyed) them with fire)
In these verses, God links open homosexuality in a society to sinful 'pride' and 'arrogance'... the sin of Satan. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed ('cleansed with fire') because they were filled with pride and arrogance while flaunting their sexual immorality and their homosexuality openly before God. They mocked God and they had no fear of God. They were also found guilty of having 'fullness of food' without acknowledging God who provided it, and having 'an abundance of idleness' in the land (basically they ate, drank, watched TV, and allowed their 'Gay Pride' parades... the people had become so de-sensitized to sin they even stood by as their homosexuals tried to 'gang-rape' the two men/angels God sent to warn Lot ... while their unbelieving priests, rabbis, ministers, and 'reverends' were assuring the people in the pews that God's Word and God's Law didn't really mean what it said and didn't really apply to them and they could continue to do whatever felt good or right in 'their own eyes,' even when in direct opposition to God's Law. All of this reflected their lack of belief and their arrogant and rebellious attitudes toward God and His Word. Sin meant nothing to them and there was no fear of God. Would these charges convict any people, churches, or nation(s) you know today? God's judgment against Sodom was given as a warning! The Bible warns the coming 'Apocalypse' will be like the judgment against Sodom (only worse), and this time it will come against the whole world! Our time is short. God is pleading with us to stop (repent of) our sinful ways and return to Him before it's too late. With open arms and with tears of joy He will welcome any and all who willingly return to Him through the One He sent forth to save us sinners ... Jesus Christ ... the promised Savior and Messiah.
A stark warning to those who have been swayed by those speaking loudly, convincingly, and incessantly from the entertainment, educational, political, and 'fallen away' church pulpits today - calling those things 'Good' that God's Word clearly says are wrong and calling those who simply believe and try to follow God's Word 'Evil' . . .
"WOE to those who call evil good, and good evil;
who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;"
(Isaiah 5:20) ("Woe" is a terrible curse or torment ... in this life or in Hell)
Many people donít believe they will be judged after they die. Yet, the Bible is clear when it says ...
"And as it is appointed for men to die once,
but AFTER this the judgment"
We are all sinners who are simply trying to warn others ...
"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world,
and is himself (his soul) destroyed or lost?
For whoever is ashamed of Me (Jesus Christ) and My words,
of him the Son of Man will be ashamed (on the day of Judgment) . . ."
"The Son of Man (Jesus Christ) will send out His angels,
and they will gather out of His Kingdom
ALL things that offend,
and those who practice lawlessness (sinning willfully Ö without repentance or remorse),
and will cast them into the furnace of fire.
There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
God warns those who call themselves "Christian" yet deny and ignore His Word ...
"NOT everyone who says to Me
(Jesus), 'Lord, Lord,' (calling themselves 'Christian')
I (Jesus) will declare to them
"I never knew you"...
How do we know if we 'know' Him?
The Bible warns we are ALL sinners ("there
is NONE righteous, no
not one"... Romans 3:10), and the
Bible says if we say we
have no sin we are liars and are calling God a liar ...
"If we say that we have no sin,
The Bible warns until we acknowledge we are sinners and we desperately need a "Savior" to save us from our sins we can't be saved from Hell.
The Bible warns if we commit one sin we are guilty of all sins (James 2:10).
WHATEVER the sin is in our life, the Bible promises God will forgive us IF we ask and are willing to "repent" (which simply means turning back to God and His ways and turning away from all those things the Bible says are wrong ... and seeking His help when we can't do it on our own.) We are also to trust in Jesus completely (even when we fail ... and we will all fail) and confess our sins to God and sincerely ask for His forgiveness (to "confess" simply means to agree with God that what we have done is wrong). God offers this gift of forgiveness through His Son, our Lord and Savior, who suffered greatly as He lovingly PAID for ALL of our sins on the Cross and shed His blood which "washes away ALL of our sins."
Please Remember . . .
The Kingdom of Heaven is available to every man, woman, boy, and girl in this world, no matter who they are, how old they are, or what sins they have committed. It is freely offered to any and all who will receive it. That is the "good news" ('gospel' in Greek.) Simply learn of Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, invite Him into your life as Savior and Lord, believe He died on the Cross for all of your sins and rose from the grave. Learn of Him ... for He was the only one who has ever loved you enough to substitute Himself for you on the Cross (which represents Hell). He shed His blood, suffered, and died on the Cross to pay for your sins and to save you from your sins and from the utter loneliness, darkness, and torment of Hell, if you will accept it, believe it, and trust in it ... it's God's Promise!!!
The only unpardonable sin is to reject God's love and His free offer of life in the Kingdom of Heaven by rejecting God's Savior, Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew), who stepped forth from Eternity ("from of old, from everlasting"... see Micah 5:2) ... not to condemn the sinner, but to save the sinner (from the torment of Hell) and who willingly and lovingly shed His innocent blood on the Cross so we can be washed clean of all our sins. The Bible warns there will be no peace in our hearts or minds until we make peace with God through His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior and Messiah.
Grace and Shalom
